There's no need for any prior knowledge, nor do you have to be Einstein. Simply apply your logic and common sense.

How strong do I have to be?

You don't need superpowers. Everything can be opened with ease. If it doesn't, the puzzle simply hasn't been solved yet. So, avoid breaking anything - it ruins the fun. Not just for you to figure out, but also for us to fix.

Do I need to be afraid of anything?

Maniac and Zombie are the rooms that are truly scary, so keep that in mind when making your booking. Other than these, there's no need to worry. All the remaining rooms are not scary. If at any point you want to leave the room, you can simply press the emergency button and exit. However, please avoid pressing the buttons just for fun, as that will end the game!

Payment on site?

Payment for the order is accepted online only. Still, card payment (no cash) is available on site for additional people (if applicable) or drinks/food!

Can children under 16 be alone in an escape room?

Accepted Answer

No! Children may only enter the escape room when accompanied by an adult player (up to 5 children per 1 adult). Younger guests are always welcome at EXITROOM. Our age recommendations for the rooms are as follows: Ages 12 and up - Magic School, Pirates, Magic Lamp, Halflings (Halflings only with an adult player in the room). Ages 16 and up - Zombie, Maniac, DaVinci, Bunker, Bank Job. Please note: Any participant under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult player in the room.

Can the maximum number of 6 players be exceeded?

No! For safety reasons, changing the maximum number of participants in the room is not allowed. We never make any exceptions!

Can I play as a book for two?

Sure, when booking, please make sure to check the information in the description. For instance, the pictures indicate "minimum 2 people" - note that the difficulty level is determined based on the minimum number of people specified by us.

There are 10 unique escape rooms available to choose from. Even if you've already played one, many more await to explore. Every room offers its own theme, set of puzzles, and level of difficulty.

Can I take some food in an escape room?

During the game, food and drinks are not allowed. You can, however, savor delicious burgers, fries, or cocktails in our restaurant either before or after the game.

How does an escape room work?

Accepted Answer

The meeting point is set 15 minutes prior to the start of the game. You will receive a locker to keep your bags, jackets, and cell phones safely inside. After that, your gamemaster will give a brief introduction before you step into the room. Once inside, you'll have 60 minutes to work through all the puzzles and successfully escape the room. Following the game, we'll take a group photo with everyone. Then you can settle into our restaurant and enjoy some food or a drink while you relax.

How difficult is an escape room in Berlin?

We offer one simple room: Halflings - four rooms of medium difficulty: Maniac, Magic Lamp, Pirates, Magic School - and five challenging rooms: Zombie, Bank Job, DaVinci, and Bunker.

Am I locked in an escape room?

Accepted Answer

No - some of our doors are either open or equipped with an emergency button, allowing you to leave the room at any time.

Can I go to the WC during the game?

Yes, you can leave the room briefly if there's an emergency. But the clock is ticking, so hurry! Try to go either before or after the game. Meanwhile, your group can continue playing during that time.

In which languages do you offer the escape rooms?

You can play all games in English and German - make sure to inform your gamemaster before the game or indicate your preference when booking.

No, unfortunately dogs are not allowed in our escape rooms.

You get 60 minutes to escape the room by solving all the puzzles. The meeting point takes place 15 minutes prior to the game start. We will gladly take a group photo with you at the end, so allow around 1.5 hours for your entire visit.
